Cream of Tomato Soup

  • 1T. Eniva Cal-Mag
  • 2c Fresh tomatoes or canned tomatoes
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1t Sugar
  • 1t Salt
  • 1/4t pepper
  • 2 Slices onion (optional)
  • 2T. Butter
  • 2T. All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2c Milk or Evaporated milk
  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan

  2. Simmer 10 minutes; sieve

  3. Melt butter; blend in flour

  4. Stir in milk

  5. Cook and stir till thickened

  6. Slowly add hot tomato mixture stirring constantly. Serves 6
